"Dream of Flower 2013"

Dream of Flower 2013 Final Project

                 Photographer: Michelle Lan

Different flower has different meaning, rose means love, lily means pure and Peony means wealth and shy etc.
Same flower but different colour also had many feeling, red feel enthusiasm, pink feel sweet and hope, yellow feel lively and black feel melancholy and mystery.
I want my work look happy and showing someone is looking for love and hope. I'm holding hope on my hand and wish there is a batter future for me and I also carries a lot of love in me. Finally I flying out of the depression.
When I saw the works from Miki Takahashi and Ninagawa Mika, I think I know how to do my project and how to make the portrait and flower together. But I most make it from my own style so I want only one kind of flowr on the portrait and look like a tatoo, it's mean Portrait with flowers are tightly dependent. I also want to put a story into my project, I mean My own feeling. I hope the viewer can find out the feeling with quiet, happy, shy and hope.
I used the digital camera to do the double exposure, I took the portrait first then flower paper. So the flower paper were became the background, and here can change the order then there will become different result. Then I used a lof of photoshop to make image look more rich.

Miki Takahashi

Miki Takahashi’s photography project entitled ‘Two sides of personality’ shows a series of portraits with two faces which are back to back, reflecting a personality which has two different sides to it. I think that this photography is thought provoking and could possibly be intended to highlight the condition of schizophrenia.

His work appears multiple exposures to make, but he also took a different combination of scenery and character was so wonderful, that people can not guess his shooting or late practices.

Photogrpaher: Daniella Zalcman

Daniella Zalcman

The wonders of technology never cease to amaze as London-based artist Daniella Zalcman unveils her latest project, the aptly titled “New York + London: A Collection of Double Exposures.” Originally developing the idea during her last month in New York City, Zalcman took over 100 smartphone photographs of the streets in the Big Apple. She then used various smartphone apps such as Instagram to delicately superimpose the pictures over images of London’s alleyways. The result is a beautiful ode to the similarities between two of the world’s greatest cities. Zalcman, whose work has been featured in Vanity FairThe Wall Street Journal and Sports Illustrated, is currently raising funds via Kickstarter to produce a photo book of her work. The full set can of images can be seen over at Yatzer.
When I first time saw her work that I really stock on it, how beautiful. Her used double exposure to cross the different cities and I think that's really clever idea.
I can feel there is a bit of sad mood inside of the photo but romantic.
